Roll1ng Thund3rz has officially launched WEB3WAR and the FUS1ON Gaming Hub.
 The launch follows a public beta period where both the multiplayer first-person shooter and the Web3 gaming platform underwent continued development and improvement. Both WEB3WAR and the FUS1ON Gaming Hub are now available in version 1.0.
 WEB3WAR and the FUS1ON Gaming Hub are the flagship products developed by Roll1ng Thund3rz, which aims to create a Web3 gaming ecosystem built around high-quality games, player-first development, and unique blockchain features predicated on providing genuine utility.

While WEB3WAR and the FUS1ON Gaming Hub have officially exited beta and are now available in version 1.0, Roll1ng Thun3rz will continue to add new features and functionalites to both products.
 Below is a breakdown of the features available at launch and what players can look forward to in the coming months.
 WEB3WAR features at launch The team at Roll1ng Thund3rz has listened carefully to feedback from the community during the WEB3WAR public beta, and the 1.0 version of the game offers a number of exciting features and improvements over earlier releases.
At launch, WEB3WAR offers five ultra-high definition maps in addition to the eight older maps implemented during the public beta. These maps are as follows:

Gameplay has been refined and expanded with overhauled loadout customisation, game modes, and weapon balance changes. Version 1.0 of WEB3WAR offers a fully fledged progression system, complete with weapon and attachment unlocks, achievement ribbons, and player levels. Daily and Weekly missions have been added as a way to earn regular experience, as have consumable experience boosts.
 Matchmaking has seen major improvements over the course of the beta, with the multiplayer experience being refined and enhanced to deliver the best player experience possible.
 Players can customise their weapons and loadouts to suit their favourite playstyle, and they can also equip cosmetic skins to further tailor their equipment and show off their flair while battling other players across a variety of game modes.
 One of the headline features of WEB3WAR&rsquo;s official launch is the integration of cosmetic skins with the FUS1ON Gaming Hub and the Zilliqa blockchain. Cosmetic weapon skins are tokenised as NFTs on the Zilliqa blockchain and can be purchased directly from MARK3T - the integrated marketplace within the FUS1ON Gaming Hub - after which they will automatically be added to the player&rsquo;s inventory in WEB3WAR.
 A limited number of Founders Edition weapon skins will be available to purchase at launch, giving early adopters of WEB3WAR the opportunity to forever own an NFT that represents an important moment in the history of WEB3WAR.  Skill2Earn and seasonal content updates Cosmetic skins in WEB3WAR are secured by the Zilliqa blockchain, which underpins the Web3 features of both the FUS1ON Gaming Hub and the games that Roll1ng Thund3rz is building.
 A key feature of WEB3WAR is the Skill2Earn system, where players will be able to earn rewards for proving their skill in ranked matches. These rewards will take the form of tokens secured by the Zilliqa blockchain and accessible with the FUS1ON Gaming Hub&rsquo;s integrated wallet and other Zilliqa wallets.
 Implementing this feature requires the creation of a complex token ecosystem and careful balancing and development of ranked gameplay within WEB3WAR to ensure the Skill2Earn system is fair, fun, and designed to optimally reward high-skill gameplay.
 The launch of the Skill2Earn system and token will be carried out alongside the first seasonal content update.
 WEB3WAR will soon launch a Season Pass system built around seasonal content updates, each of which brings new maps, cosmetic skins, and features. These Season Passes will bring a number of powerful benefits for players and allow them to maximise the rewards they earn from gameplay.
 Development of WEB3WAR continues in earnest following the official launch, and players can look forward to several new gameplay features, the launch of reward tokens and the Skill2Earn system, and much more with the first seasonal content update coming later this year.

 FUS1ON Gaming Hub and MARK3T The FUS1ON Gaming Hub is a Web3 gaming platform designed to offer powerful blockchain-based features while being accessible to traditional gamers and easy to use.
 It features an integrated Zilliqa wallet that is automatically created for users when they sign up with their email address and password. To load this wallet with Zilliqa tokens, players can either send ZIL from another wallet or purchase ZIL directly from the FUSION Gaming Hub using the RAMP widget.
 As RAMP is a third-party fiat on-ramp provider integrated into the platform, players will need to fulfil their KYC requirements in order to purchase ZIL directly with fiat currency.
 Those who want to send ZIL from another wallet to their FUS1ON Gaming Hub account can find their pre-populated wallet address by clicking on their ZIL balance at the top-right corner of the interface.
 Version 1.0 of the FUS1ON Gaming Hub includes a number of components, including a beta version of the NFT and token marketplace, MARK3T. This is integrated directly into the hub&rsquo;s interface and allows users to quickly and easily purchase one of the Founders Edition NFTs minted to celebrate the launch of WEB3WAR.
 All NFTs on the marketplace can be purchased and listed for sale through auctions or direct sales for ZIL, and once the token economy is enabled for WEB3WAR, players will also be able to use the tokens they earn in-game to purchase digital assets.
 It is important to note that the ability to transfer ZIL from the FUS1ON Gaming Hub&rsquo;s integrated wallet is not yet available. This is an important capability for users that will be added as a priority, but the focus for this initial release of the marketplace is to offer the ability to buy and own cosmetic skins, give players an opportunity to provide feedback on the user experience, and refine the large-scale trading of NFTs on the platform.
 With drawing ZIL as fiat currency is not yet offered through the RAMP widget as this functionality has not yet been enabled for the Zilliqa blockchain. Once this has been enabled, the capability to withdraw fiat currency from the FUS1ON Gaming Hub will be implemented.
 As this is a live implementation of cosmetic skin NFTs on the Zilliqa mainnet, the user experience around purchasing and trading assets can take longer than on traditional platforms that are not secured by blockchain technology.
 It may take a number of minutes for your purchase to reflect or your NFT to be claimed and appear in your inventory. This process will become more efficient as the Zilliqa blockchain continues to scale and move towards faster transaction finality as its architecture is refined.

<h3>The road to WEB3WAR 1.0</h3>
WEB3WAR has changed significantly since the launch of the public beta last year. Several new features and gameplay mechanics have been added, and the graphics have been overhauled based on feedback from the player community.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;WEB3WAR is now a complete game. In contrast to what it was in early October when we started the beta, we now have a customisation system that&rsquo;s much better than many popular games on the market. We have many more weapons, maps and skins which are greater both in&nbsp; volume and quality,&rdquo; Valentin says.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;We have a complete progression and unlock system, a variety of game modes, daily and weekly missions, achievement ribbons, and more.&rdquo;
 
When asked what changes he is most proud of making to the game over the course of its public beta, Valentin answers with the major graphics overhaul the team implemented at an impressive pace.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;I&rsquo;m most proud of the graphics. The fact that the new high-definition maps run even better than the old ones, which are more low-poly, really makes me proud because the team really understood the grade of quality I was looking for and the speed of delivery we needed to make it happen.&rdquo;
&nbsp;
&ldquo;I think the graphics changes have been the biggest challenge we had and we achieved that in about a month and a half. The beta started in October and about a month and a half later, we overhauled the graphics.&rdquo;
&nbsp;
The game now includes five high-definition maps alongside the eight older maps, and all graphical models and skins for characters, weapons, and attachments have been overhauled for a better visual experience while retaining performance.
&nbsp;
Valentin adds that the team has also been working hard to improve the matchmaking and multiplayer experience to deliver an essentially lag-free experience at launch, provided players are matchmaking in the same region.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;We optimised quite a lot on the multiplayer side. We have a lot of mechanics to compensate for players having varying internet connections to make the multiplayer gameplay experience as seamless as possible.&rdquo;
&nbsp;
&ldquo;There may still be some issues that we will continue to monitor and iron out, but if players are connecting in the same region, they are going to have a great online gameplay experience,&rdquo; he says.
<h3>NFTs, cross-game skins and FUS1ON</h3>
The launch of WEB3WAR version 1.0 sees the introduction of cosmetic weapon skin NFTs that are available to purchase from within the FUS1ON Gaming Hub. These skins are truly owned by the player and stored in their Zilliqa wallet, which is seamlessly integrated into the hub.
&nbsp;
Valentin explains that the FUS1ON Gaming Hub is designed to make its powerful blockchain features as accessible as possible to gamers who are used to traditional platforms like Steam.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;Getting started is simple - you install the hub and create an account the usual way, with your email, username, and password. You can then install WEB3WAR and while the game is being downloaded, you can go to the marketplace and browse the available Founders Edition skins.&rdquo;
&nbsp;
&ldquo;When it comes to loading ZIL into your integrated wallet and buying skins, we have a partnership with RAMP, one of the biggest fiat on-ramp providers in the Web3 space. All you need to do is input your payment details and fulfil their KYC process from within the hub&rsquo;s interface before buying ZIL to load into your wallet,&rdquo; Valentin says.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;Once that is done, you can go to the marketplace and buy any skins you might like. You can always sell them later on and list them for whatever price you like. The skins you buy will be automatically available to equip in WEB3WAR after they appear in your inventory in the FUS1ON Gaming Hub.&rdquo;
&nbsp;
Note that because these cosmetic skins are secured by blockchain technology, it might take a few minutes for your NFT to appear in your inventory once you have bought it.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;All the blockchain infrastructure is attached to your account details in our backend to make the user experience as accessible as possible. You don't need to know what your wallet address is, and if you do want to share it with others, it is available right from the token balance screen in the FUS1ON Gaming Hub,&rdquo; Valentin says.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;I want non-crypto users and gamers to be comfortable with the interface and sign-up process. I want everyone to be able to enjoy the game and benefit from the ability to own and trade cosmetic skins through the marketplace.&rdquo;
&nbsp;
The utility of the new cosmetic skin NFTs for WEB3WAR will only grow with the ecosystem of Web3 games and services that Roll1ng Thund3rz is building, Valentin explains.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;All of these skins will be available to use in a number of future games. As we continue to publish new games, the skins you purchase for one of those games will be available to use in others.&rdquo;
&nbsp;
&ldquo;We're going to have continuity in respect to your gear, for example a skin for a specific weapon in WEB3WAR could also be usable in another game that features the same weapon. So you&rsquo;re no longer buying one skin for a single game like you may be used to, but for the whole ecosystem that we are building,&rdquo; he says.
A number of additional features are planned for the FUS1ON Gaming Hub as development on its various components continues, including an integrated radio streaming service with licensed music, the ability to transfer ZIL to external wallets and withdraw fiat currency through an integrated off-ramp.
<h3>Skill2Earn and seasonal content</h3>
One of the marquee features of WEB3WAR is its Skill2Earn system, which will be launched with the first seasonal content update later this year. Skill2Earn will allow players to compete in ranked gameplay and earn tokens based on their performance, which they can then use to purchase cosmetic skin NFTs, Season Passes, or cash out for fiat currency.
&nbsp;
Valentin explains that this system and WEB3WAR&rsquo;s token system will be launched with the Season 1 update to ensure that multiplayer gameplay is as balanced as possible before the introduction of ranked gameplay.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
Implementing the token economy is also a complex process that requires careful consideration and testing from a blockchain integration perspective, and it&rsquo;s important that when Skill2Earn is implemented, it provides the best possible player experience for all gamers.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;Ahead of the launch of the token economy and Skill2Earn, we will roll out additional cosmetic skin NFTs and a number of new features. We're going to have even more NFTs and lots of new content for people to enjoy,&rdquo; Valentin says.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;Season 1 will take some time to roll out, and this is because we want to ensure the token economy is properly implemented and it delivers an enjoyable and fair experience for all players.&rdquo;
&nbsp;
&ldquo;We are building games on blockchain, and that means putting players and the gameplay experience first. That&rsquo;s the philosophy behind everything at Roll1ng Thund3rz,&rdquo; he says.
&nbsp;
The pre-season launch phase is all about testing the multiplayer gameplay at volume before adding ranked gameplay, Valentin adds.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;Before Skill2Earn is launched with the first seasonal update, we want to ensure the game is balanced and fair. We are constantly working to balance weapons and game mechanics and improve the multiplayer experience.&rdquo;
&nbsp;
The pre-season phase will also see the introduction of perks based on trading cards, which will allow players to unlock active and passive abilities based on their in-game performance.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;All these perks can be skinnable, and those skins will be NFTs and you can trade them, you can buy them, you can sell them,&rdquo; Valentin says.
&nbsp;
The Season 1 update will see the launch of the Season Pass, which unlocks ranked gameplay and a host of new content and skins, including five new high-definition maps for players to enjoy.
&nbsp;
&ldquo;In order to get access to Season 1, you will need to purchase the Season Pass, which will be a wallet-bound item in your inventory that gives you access to these new features,&rdquo; Valentin says.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
&ldquo;You will receive access to new weapons and skins. You'll also have access to five additional new HD maps besides the five that are already in the game.&rdquo;

<h2>LONDON, Feb. 13, 2023 - Zilliqa Research Pte. Ltd., developers of the <a href="http://zilliqa.com">Zilliqa blockchain</a> &ndash; a high-performance, high-security and low-fee layer-1 blockchain protocol, today announces that it has completed the spin-off of its gaming division into a new standalone business, <a href="https://rtz.gg">Roll1ng Thund3rz</a> (RTz).</h2>
The spin-off of Zilliqa&rsquo;s gaming division into Roll1ng Thund3rz marks a significant milestone for the company, as it pursues a strategy of building and incubating internal businesses that demonstrate innovative use cases of Web3 and blockchain technologies, part of a multi-faceted approach to driving growth across all aspects of the Zilliqa ecosystem.&nbsp;
Roll1ng Thund3rz will be led by Zilliqa&rsquo;s Head of Gaming Technology, Valentin Cobelea, who has spearheaded the establishment and development of Zilliqa&rsquo;s gaming division over the past year. Cobelea will serve as co-founder and CTO at Roll1ng Thund3rz, while also continuing in his role with Zilliqa to develop the technical gaming capabilities of the company; the remainder of Zilliqa&rsquo;s gaming division will transition to the new entity from today, which will commence operations immediately.
The new company will continue to work closely with Zilliqa&rsquo;s core and technical teams to facilitate seamless integration with the Zilliqa blockchain, which underpins several of the vanguard capabilities set to feature in Roll1ng Thund3rz games, including the unique Skill2Earn system that rewards players for their in-game play, not how much they pay to participate.
Next month, on March 31, Roll1ng Thund3rz will release its first flagship title, <a href="https://w3w.game">Web3War</a> &ndash; a free-to-play, cross-platform, first-person shooter. Currently in open beta, the game has attracted close to 7,000 players in its pre-release phase, as it has progressively rolled out new content and features to a growing user base ahead of its official launch.
